Hi...

I'd like to install MCE on my laptop, unfortunately I get the following message during the bootup of the Installation-Single-Layer-DVD:

/bin/sh: can't access tty;  job control turned off.

But I know, that kubuntu can be installed. So I wonder, what the problem is right now?!

My hardware:
Intel Core 2 Duo T7700
15,4" lcd
NVidia Geforce 8600M GT
2 GB DDR2
250 GB HDD
DVD-DL

Thank you in advance...

Ah, that's good - found the solution at: http://blog.tviel.de/?p=11

When you are at the Boot-Menu, press F6 and add "all_generic_ide"
