Since Pluto version 2.16 our installation does not see DVD's when inserted into the drive on a remotely booted Media Director. In previous releases the DVD insertion event was recognised and DVD's played correctly

Our setup has not changed in any way - the only change being the change to v2.16.

Any ideas on this?

Hi,

Can you please send me some debugging info to see why ?

You should reboot your system, try to play the DVD and then send to me the following files:

  from the router:
    /var/log/pluto/DCERouter.newlog

  from the respective MD:
    /var/log/pluto/*Disk_Drive.newlog
    /var/log/pluto/*Xine_Player.newlog

Please send those files to the mihai.t@plutohome.com address.

Thank you.
