I've an ipaq 5550 I'd like to use as a mobile orbiter.
It gets recognised by LMCE and I'm asked what type of device it is.
I choose either of the windows mobile orbiters offered and the s/w gets transferred.
When I try to run this on the device it fails - not a valid PPC application.

I can manually transfer the Xscale Orbiter cab from /users/pluto/installers and it will install and run, but never connect to the router.
I'm assuming the packages LMCE sends me have extra config info to allow the orbiter to communicate.

Any hints on what I need to set up on the orbiter? or am I in fact using the correct install?

thanks

i simply downloaded the xscale binary from my 0704 installation via the browser.

Works great. Nice orbiter.

Just to close this off - I was initially trying this over Bluetooth!
Once I got my wireless access going in my lmce network and ran the orbiter - picked it up straight away Smiley
