I have been working to add support for the Hauppauge MediaMVP After some mods to dongle.bin now I have it working as squeezbox player and i am able to boot and control it from LMCE, as Squeezebox Player. I am trying to create a device template to make it PNP in LMCE, I used the squeezebox template as a basis for my MVPTemplate. The problem is when using the MVP template, I get an error stating you dont have a device capable of playing or something close.

Thoughts anyone?

Can you post information contained in the device template? I'd like to help, as a cheap audio solution is very attractive to me

It appears the xine_plugin looks for the specific device template number for the squeezebox. (Thanks Thom)
Specifically in the Xinemedia stream.

I have hacked together a quick test to try when i get home.

Sounds very interesting - but a note, I have read several reviews that the wireless on the wireless version is extremely bad, video very choppy, no WPA, etc. The recommendation was to stick with the wired version (the sub $100 one you are talking about tk...)
