Help Needed By Linux MCE Newbie
« on: June 21, 2008, 05:43:16 pm »
I have managed to install and setup Linux MCE but in MythTV when I click the music option in the media menu there are no files/tracks to choose. How do I get MythTV to recognise my mp3 tracks. Do I need to copy them all to a specific folder?
Thank you

Linux MCE does not use mythTV for the music player (didnt even know that was in there). To access your audio, i would recommend clicking the 'Audio Button' on the orbiter and that will take you to your music library

I thought i could search all my tracks and play them through mythtv? I can get to the search menu after selecting the audio option in the media menu but its empty. Where do i need to copy all my tracks to? Also i would like to store DVD iso's to create a database of all my dvd collection and play them through mythtv.
