Hi,

a nice feature would be having a webpage that works the same way as a MD.
That way you would be able to watch your tv channels and stored media while abroad.

MS MCE can do this through a plugin - weird that MS has a feature you guys dont <- Yes that's a challenge Wink

Of course this should be done in an SSL tunnel, UI be almost the same,  require login with credentials taken from the core.

I've also thought that a web-based media director would be a nice addition. Or at least the ability to play back audio and video streams.

 Smiley
At least for tv recordings, you can try mythweb it allows streaming of recordings to vlc, media player, etc. But since we don't have myth music as part of the mythtv build, there you might try something like freenas on your media servers. It has a built in client for streaming audio.

Just a thought. And possibly a place to start looking for an end all solution. Smiley

Seth
