I have the Linux MCE up and running on the 64 Bit OS but when I use the remote it seems very slow or slugish. the keyboad and the mouse work very quick any ideas.

I have the exact same issue, but it only appears to happen on my MD.  Navigating is a hassle when you are tryiiing to shuffle through scenes of a dvd.

Wow, nice feedback.
Anyone out there have similar experience?  If so, any solutions ?  or maybe even a commentt as to where to try and hunt this issue down.

Sorry Marper - didn't mean to offend. Just not sure on what the options are about (Remote and Slow?).

None taken.  I've been playing with this wonderful system since Nov 07 and in my discovery have grown to like the Linux "advantage" to the extent of converting all of the systems in my home.  I manage a group of Linux S.A. and I have had to quickly develop thick skin as they most of the time don't think of user's but more about their skill.  Which still impresses me from time to time.
