Hi forum,

I am having following issue:
Core/hybrid on xeon 2.84Ghz
Media director booting via PXE P4

A while ago the media director wouldn't boot anymore. At first I thought my NIC had died. After some testing I found this wasn't true.
As a quick remedy I chose to delete the MD from pluto webadmin, and reinitiate it.
So far so good.

Now the problem:
Eversince during playback of a recorded film, the image slows down, comes to a halt, then as if in slowmotion moves forward (no sound anymore) to slowly speed up again till normal speed.
I've had a look at top on both the core and the hybrid: CPU is never higher than 25% on either.

Apart from the reinstall, nothing has changed on the network.

What can I do to remedy this very disturbing situation?
Change xine priority? But then why was this no problem before?

Thanks for your help!!

Sory for the lack of info;
My MD is on 7.10b4.
As of yet I don't know whether the system auto upgrades or not..
Video card:
Geforce 6200 256MB

It's important to know that this system has been running much better before.

Thank you,

Erwin
