Are there any z wave interfaces that work out of the box, without having to add any drivers?

hi thanks, i have to ha22 now but it needs the SPCP8x5_Driver_Installation correct? i'm having trouble with the installation, i have given up on it.  When i get to copying from the master controller in the wizard, the wizard does not copy it.  I did once and never worked again.  I reset both the controller and the ha22 after trying them out in windows,   Installed the drivers which was was a headache and i still couldn't do it properly i believed because i can't load to spcp8x5.ko file.  As a matter of fact i was doing everything out of the home folder instead of /tmp because every command i put in came up no file exists.  so i was hoping i could just buy a plug and play interface?

iirc the drivers should be installed after the stick is plugged in by lmce. No need to compile sth. For the download configuration problem: I have a small utility for that and could try that over remote access.
All US controllers I'm aware of use the spcp8x5.

Which LinuxMCE-0710 version are you using? If its rc1 then there was a bug in the zwave binary and it will not work correctly.

See here for more info http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/Difference_between_710_RC1_and_710_RC2

all the best
