Hello

Sorry about my English, I’m a Portuguese integrator!  Grin

I’m trying to use the LinuxMCE with EIB/KNX light control. I have a EIB/KNX - USB gateway, but I have some difficult to config the interface, I already
1.   define the devices.
2.   define the Lights
3.   Import and Update the group Adresses
4.   When I try to do On/Off in any device os group adress, the EIB BUS do not receive any message!

I have doubts about config the interface, is necessary install some additional software?

Can someone give me a help, to put working, step by step, the information available on wiki is not very complete!

Thanks

JS

LMCE works only with RS232 interface FT1.2 like this http://www.eibmarkt.com/cgi-bin/eibmarkt.storefront/48214a72005abe02274450f3362b05e0/Product/View/N000250

Right now I’m using a RS232 (serial) with V1.2, device of Siemens 5WG11481AB02.

I check if the group address and the import of the group address are correct, and they are.
I Already Add the lights, and when I force to On or OFF, nothing happens!

What I can do to test  step-by-step, and put these working!
 Huh Huh Huh

mickg,
I'm not too sure how well that driver is implemented.  From what I can gather, it hasn't been looked at since the pluto days.

If you can get me specs on the protocol, I can see what I can come up with.

Regards,

Dan
