Hi,

That look fine to me... you installed it ;-)

now you need to go into Web Admin -> Wizards -> Basic Info -> Installation and at the bottom of the page you will see 'Miscellaneous' choose 'mp3' and bit rate etc there and then click 'Save' and now your rips will be in mp3 format.

Now I get to rip some songs, and then it freezes, I still can move the cursor on the screen and flicks picture viewer still changing pictures. But no response from keyboard or mouse clicks...

Hi i have the same thing happening .but it does it all the time . some times if i boot up it freeze or if i leave it alone for a while .again no responds to keyboard or mouse the only thing you can do is a reboot.

Now ,i have been told in a topic that i should install using the cd method cause i install from the quick dvd vr beta3 & 4 ,i also install the quick dvd RC1 to see would it get rid of the  problem  but it didn't.

i'm in the middle of recording  my screen so i can post it here for support to look at ,

again i'll post here any success on the matter. i will be using the cds for installing

P.S its nothing to do with ripping the cds.

Well I only experience lock ups while ripping CD's. LMCE is fully working on playing media, and entering inn and out of KDE etc...

I have an other problem as well now! I am loosing access to the media on a NTFS mount, where I have most of my media... But I have ordered a new HDD, that I am gone set up with linux file system, and then transfer my data over the network to my new disk. Well thats the plan anyway 8)

I will rethink the two CD install, thanks for your advise Govo :)
