BIG problems after last update
« on: December 07, 2005, 07:05:39 pm »
Forced to do so, I've tried upgrading my installation to the .34 release.

But this do not work at all.

Then I have tried reinstalling from a new .34 installation cd.
Does not work either.

Poking around in /var/log/pluto/ lead me to Initial_Installation.newlog.
There it gives me these errors:
Errors were encountered while processing:
 pluto-mythtv-backend-proxy
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

Frustrating, since I just got my last installation as I wanted.
How about adding a checkbox to the pluto-admin giving the user the choice to automatically upgrade or not?

Got it working again.

Used my old .33 release cd, and after the first bootup and initial configuration a reboot made it update itself. And now its up.

Beats me what the problem was ;P

@nomore,

You can disable the auto update script using the admin web site.  Can access my system at the moment so cant give you exact page, but it is the page where you manage startup order of scripts.
