I've searched around this site and the WEB in general and can't find an answer so maybe someone here knows or can help point me in the right direction.

I've tried loading LinuxMCE both through the CD and DVD. I've gotten the closest getting it working with the DVD install. However, the WinTV card is my current issue.

When I loaded Kubuntu prior to starting the CD installation, the system found the WinTV card and seem to load the appropriate drivers. Now that I reloaded the system, with the DVD install, it looks like the system doesn't recognise the card. I issued an lspci and it came up with a Brooktree 878 video capture card. This I assume is the Hauppauge card but Pluto-admin doesn't see it.

The Hauppauge WinTV card is an old card but I've had it working in Windows just prior to experimenting with LinuxMCE so I know it's still operational and as I said, Kubuntu seemed to recognise it.

Any info/support/urls would be welcomed.

Thanks in advance...
