Hi,

I have my media director booting off the network and everything seems to be OK.  However, when I try to play any of my music that is on the CORE is says "File Not Found /home/public/data/audio/Mile/Time of my life.mp3".  What am I doing wrong here?  I guess I'm not sure why the Media Director is trying to look on it's local drive for the music, shouldest the Media Director be looking at the network to get the music?  I'm sure this is something stupid that I did but I just can't figure it out.

Thanks in advance for your help.

OK, so I figured it out.

Well not really but I did get it working again.

I had to delete the diskless device image and also remove the device from the WebAdmin interface.  Once the image was rebuilt everything started working again.

Here are the steps in detail
1. Open WebAdmin and go to Wizards -> Devices -> Media Directors
2. Note the Device number assigned to your Media Director. (you will need this later)
3. Remove the Diskless Media Director from the list by clicking the "Delete" button
4. Open a shell and remove the diskless image from /usr/pluto/diskless/<device number>.  So for my Media Director the device number was 47.  The command I used was "sudo rm -r -f /usr/pluto/diskless/47"
5. Restart Media Director and go through the entire setup again.

Seems like a work around but I could not figure out why non of the media would play.

If someone has a better way please let me know.

Thanks
Donny

I have the same problem.

My MD says 'file not found' when it tries to play audio or video.  I rebuilt the image but this did not work, I didn't delete the image.

strangely I can change the orbiter to control my Hybrid MD/Core and start a film, and then using the floor plan stream to the MD and that works fine

Anybody got any ideas of an easier way than suggested above to get this working?
