YP server

I got a HP laptop I had knocking around set up to network book as an MD. On boot it tries to connect to a YP server but after a few attempts fails. Do I need to worry? I seem to be able to browse and play media from the core

any ideas?

I see that happening all the time
it will fail several times but be successful on the last attempt
I am pretty sure this is normal behavior but I am no expert

it has however happened on all of the MD's I have tried (about 9 now

)
