Hi,

I'd like to add support for the Australian voip provider FaktorTel.

They have simple configuration instructions for Asterisk at the following page:
http://www.faktortel.com.au/support-asterisk-setup-only.shtml.

Now, I could configure the Asterisk config files directly, but I assume they'd be overwritten on the next reboot / upgrade.

How would I go about adding support for this provider for Pluto directly?

Cheers,
-Kent

Please go to "Advanced"->"PhoneSetup" on pluto-admin website.
There you'll see the AMP's interface. Please configure asterisk from there.
We choosed this approach because it's more userfriendly than editing plain config files.

Also it will be nice if you'll send us a sample AMP configuration for that provider, so we could build a script which will do it automatically in the future.

Just letting you know that I won't be continuing to configure Faktortel as IAX isn't supported for their free plans.

However, an ISP and telephony provider here called iinet now offer voip services as well as ADSL2, so I may move to them shortly and see if I can get them working with Asterisk (which I suspect shouldn't be too hard).
