VIA EPIA EX
« on: March 02, 2008, 06:01:02 am »
Do you think that a system based on a VIA EPIA EX with a 1.5ghz processor and a hardware based encoding tv card (pvr-150 for example) would be capable of simultaneous recording, playback and/or streaming plus UI2 (with masking I guess)?

Thanks
Philippe

Philippe... there are plenty of threads on this issue here... just search the forum.

The simple answer is no. The Via graphics drivers (both closed & open source) do not currently support UI2. You could go with UI1 though...
