Will any bluetooth enabled phone have the ability to control the Pluto system (eg the Palm Treo 650?.)

no, not all bluetooth phones work.
only those with Symbian series 60 operating system and windows mobile 2003.
as a plan, we'll add support for treo, blackberries, nokia 770.
