Hi,

I'm trying since last three days to control pluto with IR unsuccessfully.
I've carefully (I hope) read this article : http://plutohome.com/support/index.php?section=document&docID=226
my usb dongle is ready as follows:

usb 3-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3
SigmaTel STIr4200 IRDA/USB found at address 3, Vendor: 66f, Product: 4200
drivers/net/irda/stir4200.c: IrDA: Registered SigmaTel device irda0
usbcore: registered new driver stir4200

Here's the questions :

which kind of receivers I have to select in drop-down menu 'Infrared Receivers' from 'media director wizard' ?

Can I use a universal remote control ?, if necessary what else can I use ?

Please need help

Regards
