The drivers for the Egalax touchscreens, the Planar touchscreens  and the Elo usb touchscreens should be in the system soon with instructions in the WiKi under touchscreen I think. There are indexing issues with the WiKi. The elographics serial touch screen driver is in the system but needs manual adjustment of the xorg.conf file to work and manual tweaking of the settings. There is a cal utility but its for the serious programmer to implement.
