Need help setting up myth tv

i got a pvr 350 haupaugge or however you spell it and ive been trying to set it up. Now im stuck with myth where the sql database won't update. I think i changed the default settings like an idiot. I don't even know where to start really. I think i need to know how to setup the datbase configuration. Huh
