Although in the past I have used Pluto/LinuxMCE built in DVD library management I switched to MythDVD quite some time ago because I can take advantage of Myth's transcode engine on the backend to process the DVDs and output H.264. The process is basically the same between the two, stick in a disk and it takes care of the rest automatically but I would like to see if it makes sense to combine LinuxMCE's management with the MythDVD backend to get the same functionality.

Is there interest?

I think its interesting BUT H.264 is a codec thats not well supported in Linux on hardware. Its a forward looking idea and as soon as we have access to good H.264 playback it will be very important.
