im having trouble copying my dvds to the harddrive.  i havehad it working on previous install on this system but not this time for some reason.  insert disk and it autoplays..  tell it to copy disk and i get a display saying it is being copied and i can view status through advanced pending tasks.  and thats it..  i close out of that and try to view status and nothing...  seems to have forgotten about copying it...  any ideas??  im a new linux user but i follow directions real well.

How long does it take for you between the message telling to look and you actually clicking there? Is it possible that an error occured inbetween?

Try manually execute

Code:
/usr/pluto/bin/Disk_Copy /dev/xxxx t.iso

and see if that gives out any kind of information. (/dev/xxxx should be replaced with your DVD drives device.

Are you using the Pluto Disk_Copy or another diskcopy?
