I'm setting up a core right now (modeled after the fireengine of course). The only problem is that I will have very few PCI slots at my disposal.

I would like to be able to have 3 live TV feeds at a time. We have 3 FTA satellite receivers. Would I be better off getting 3 DVB-s PCI cards, or some kind of capture cards to hook to the receivers themselves? As I said, PCI slots are at a premium (I think I will only have 2) does anybody make a capture card with 4 inputs?

One more question - do capture cards only input video, or can you input audio into them too? If not, does that mean I will need a sound card with many inputs?

thanks,

Jon
