spoke with the online Chat support today. Very helpful! Just gave them my installation # (2426), set up a temporary password and they connected to my pluto installation to get work things out.
Seems all that is needed in this type of event is a new device template:
BTW the device I was trying to install was a WGL Designs W800RF32
