Hi. My planned Pluto setup is going to be 1 dedicated core connected to several media centres. Also connected to the core will be a Windows PC which will be used to control the core like an oribter.

My question is: Will I be able to play files (avi's and mp3's) off the PC, through the core to the media centres?

If not, I guess I'd have to copy the files from the PC to the core first, EXCEPT I'm guessing that the core doesn't use avi and mp3 files!

Help!  Tongue

Hi,

You'll need to copy the files to core, the core is a storage device.
Media directors connect to the core and play those files, but the Win Pc won't play those because, it acts only as a remote.
We support avi and mp3 format.

Here's a quick start quide that will be helpfull
