Also, I wondered how development was going on with the deserted maillist linked from the LMCE.o homepage. That link should be changed from the little used SourceForge page to the real page at CharonMedia.

Well, that's the point of a beta: testing, by people not on the dev team. More feedback to use to make it better faster.
