Does anyone have experience using LinuxMCE in Norway!
I have tv-signals from GET!

Is it an option or is LinuxMCE just for USA etc.?

If not, plz give me some help and tips on how to install it (does it work on the "slave" harddisc?).

Thnx you! Yes you that answers this topic! 8)

I would think 'Get' uses DVB-C (cable)
But I haven't actually tried such a card here, I am going to use DVB-T for 'Canal Digital'.
There are development efforts to better the support for European users, especially for satellite and cable (that can be unique to us Euros).

Are you talking about the VDR development for better DVB support? If so, DVB(t,s,c,h,etc) is far from unique to EU - although the majority of the consortium was managed there initially - it has very much been the global standard for a long time now for digital video broadcasting. Literally only a handful of countries use ATSC - almost every other country in the world has adopted, adopted and implemented or are signatories to DVB as a standard. So I think that the VDR development is going to be a boon for the whole LMCE community! Can't wait :)
