Config for built in UPNP shares??
« on: November 20, 2007, 01:51:59 am »
Hi,

Can anyone point me to info to help me config additional directories to be shared by the builtin UPNP server with MCE.  Currently 2 directories show up by default, one for recorded tv and another for music.  I would simply like to define an additional location which contains archived movies that can also be served up by the UPNP server for my non MCE devices that I currently use (dlink dsm-520s).

Thanks much.

Dunno if the symlinks will work as I don't want to replace the functionality of the existing two shared directories that show up.  I want a new directory that contains my videos.  On another linux box I have been playing with Ushare, Mediatomb and Fuppes.  Actually like fuppes a lot since it can also transcode but I don't really need that too much.

Just looking for the magic way to configure the upnp server that is already running within MCE.

Thanks.. Paul
