removing features
« on: November 16, 2007, 04:50:46 pm »
I would like to remove the security and lights and telecom part of the GUI. Can this be done. I suspect having these componets does not take a lot of cpu resource but i dont want to advertise what is not available so to speak.

Many thanks,

in short,

no.

longer answer,

yes, but you would have to run the HA Designer and remove the buttons from the UI... but trust me, i wouldn't recommend doing this, if you want them later, you'd have to re-create it.

i dont know how far he ever got or what his decision came to be, but i know paul was looking for something more user friendly than HA Designer. hopefully soon you will be able to make your own skins and add or remove the features that are important to you. like thom said...not so advisable now. HA Designer is not something easy to use. its also pretty hard to get a hold of.
