We've tested a number of MB that have i950 graphics chips onboard and they work fine for UI1 & UI2 with Overlay... but they cannot currently handle UI2 with transparency (due to limitation in Intel's current drivers).

I hope to add these i945 MB's to the Wiki by the weekend ;-)

Hope the above helps you

Andrew

thx for reply, acutally i re-thought that purchase and decided to build a htpc from scratch. I will be using MB Asus M2NVM-DVI AM2 which uses GeForce 7050 Graphics so im hoping LMCE is gonna run oki on this, otherwise ill be stuck with using a windows based system lol.

Hmmm... the 7050 is still a little bit of an issue due to the nVidia drivers still being a bit unstable. I would suggest that you don't buy anything yet with a 7050 inside it if you want a stable usable lmce system in the near term. On the other hand if you relish a challenge and can live with an unstable system then go for it ;-)
