Hi Everybody!

When installing Kubuntu 7.04, after having made some search in the kubuntu forums, I was able to get a correct resolution when using the HDMI output from the Ati Card.
The resolution was 1280x720. According to this forum, 1280x720 corresponds to the 720p resolution.
The Modes int my /etc/X11/xorg.cong file was:
Code:
Modes "1280x720"

I installed Linux MCE on top of the Kubuntu. In the Wizzard Setup, using HDMI, I can use the 800x600 resolution
but I just get part of the Desktop. If i try to use the 720p resolution it does not accept it.
I use a Fujicom LCD 32" TV which has a HDMI input.

Is there a way fo get this 1280x720 resolution?

Thank you for your help.

Just edit the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file again.

Hi Zaerc

It is what I did but....
...but I get the KDE desktop as it has to be, but the MCE window does not use the whole screen.

From the description the settings for the video wizard don't match the system. That can be edited in the device media director to match the xorg settings. Its better if you can get the video wizard to work right but it can be edited manually.
