I have two 80gig hard drives in the machine i'm preparing to install MCE on.  Initially should I disconnect the secondary SATA drive until install is complete, then plug it up and let the dcerouter find it...or will the system automatically detect the 2nd drive and use it for media storage?

I would recommend that you have both drives connected and let LMCE do all the configuration from the getgo.

I'm just curious, are you using a all in one DVD installation disk?  Or are you doing the CD's to Kubuntu to LMCE install?

Nope.  I did my first install with the DVD and haven't tried it with the CD combo.  I was going to ask YOU how you did it from a CD combo if you were going to do it that way! Roll Eyes

You are going to have the PC and HDD dedicated for the LMCE?
