I have 3TB with TV shows, and I'm looking for a way to bulk edit tags on them.

From what I can find, I can only edit one item in the Admin Web, or auto search for covers and select stuff for every single item.

For TV shows I'd like an ability to grab a screenshot and use that as a cover.

You can always install phpmyadmin, and place a few well aimed qeuries.  It's probably not what you're looking for but shouldn't be to hard to figure out once you know the way.

Wouldn't surprise me if there was a better way (that I haven't figered out yet) either.  Try snooping around in the web admin under: "Files & Media".

You can do it while watchign the media.
There's some kind of "screenshot" functionality allready built in.
I don't remember the exact name on the button, but it's in the menu (F7)

I'm too used to windows, and most software there grabs the screenshot automagically when listing...

I also have folder images and covers on my files lying in the same directory as the file. These are showing up in pictures instead of beeing treated as icons.

Hi,

I think that slight modification of media update daemon would easily add this feature. I also have a lot of files with "windows" like additional info (screenshot has same name, but .jpg at the end).

I vote for such feature - it's trully desired in my case... Till then it would be also convenient if editind coverarts from web-admin would allow to add screenshots for all files in same directory (currently you have to add one by one)....

Regards,

Rob.

I have a shed load of ripped CDs, all with cover art in the same folder too. None of my audio uses the cover art either. Please can this be made into a feature!!?
