screwed up your vista partition?  Cheesy you do realize that it says right in the wiki that its going to use your entire drive right?

1. The Quick Install DVD installs both Kubuntu and LinuxMCE at the same time in 20 minutes with only 3 keystrokes. You pick the hard drive you want it to install onto, and it will partition it, format it, install everything with default options, and set your location and regional settings using an IP2Location service. The DVD installer essentially takes a pre-installed image and copies it to the hard drive. This is why it is so fast and easy. But you also don't have low-level control over the installation process. Note: this installer will erase all existing data from the selected hard drive. The DVD Installation page contains a walkthrough of this installer.

did you check to see if the hardware in your sony laptop is even supported? oh man...this is another good one.

Kubuntu 0704 and LMCE CDs 1 and 2 (the two LMCE CDs are in one download if you use the torrent)

Had this problem, re-downloaded from pirate bay bit torrent, re-burnt on different DVD and no corruption errors on install - just black screen on first boot from hard drive Sad (i.e no graphics from my nvidea 7600).

Try pressing 1-5 and/or connecting screens to the other outputs, see also: http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/AVWizard#What_to_do_if_A.2FV_Wizard_does_not_start
