Installed ok, except bottom of screen!

Hi Guys,
I have installed Linux MCE from the 2 CD's on a Ubuntu (Feisty) machine. It all seemed to be going rather well.
I did get an OpenGL error, but I changed the video set up and it now seems to be ok.......

Except for the bottom of the screen. It is clipped, from the top of the 'next' button down Sad

I have tried changing the screen resolution and that doesn't help. All the green install windows fitted just great, but on the actual MCE screens I cannot read any of the buttons along the bottom!

Has any one else had this, and can any one offer any possible solutions?

just makin sure...Ubuntu or Kubuntu?

It was Ubuntu.
I am currently downloading the install DVD (with Kubuntu) and will give that a go if no one has any suggestions.
