I currently run Feisty Fawn, I have a 3ware 95000S12 raid card in this machine.
It is supported out of the box by the Kernel (I didn't have to recompile it).
I tried to install linuxmce 0704 (DVD) but it didn't recognize the card.
Is there anything I can do ?
Thanks a lot.

Try installing it from the CDs over a freshy kubuntu feisty intallation and see if that works any better.

Installing with the CD did the trick, the basic Kubuntu even discovers the controller during the install process.
Wished that the DVD could do the same.

Thanks a lot.
