I would like to know if anyone has used a MSI Media Live box and has got everything work ok?  I checked the hardware wiki and didn't see anything there yet.
I am looking for a fairly cheaper box than the Fiire Engine box that I can also use as a Director machine for now!  I think paying $800 is a bit high.

thanks!

It should work but has not been tested yet.

When i priced it as a Hybrid core w/ the AMB 2400 BE processor, 1 GB of ram, 2 500 GB drives it was very close to $800 from Newegg as a box of parts. Assembly and testing is more time. You can get an HD Tivo for $300 +$12/mo for two years. And it doesn't do as much. The real question is the value you put on the utility. I like the Media Live a lot, but have not actually seen or used one. I would prefer it but as a finished product I believe it would be considerably more than the Fiire Engine.
