0704 Quick Install DVD doesn't work!

Hi,

I have a HTPC thats been running in VISTA for quite some time now and i've recently wiped it for Linux MCE. Though it won't install!
I've burned the Linux MCE Quick Install DVD to DVD and slapped it in the drive. It boots into the Kubuntu bootloader and i choose the first option- to install.
It does a few things, it asks which HDD to install to (I have 2 identical 320GB HDDs on SATA), i choose the first one (1), though i have tried both now.
It gets to installing the SWAP space on one of the HDDs and just stalls. It doesn't actually freeze because i can CTRL+ALT+DEL it at any time, but there doesn't seem to be any activity. (And yeah, i have waited for atleast an hour twice)

Try the "hard way" install Kubuntu 0704 first, then the LMCE disks (2 CD ISOs).
That would perhaps give you more control.
The LMCE installer takes a couple of hours, while seeming to stall several times
