Is there now or is there any plan for LinuxMCE have the ability to send mail? It would be nice to have it send me messages when events are triggered. I dont have a phone system set up yet.

Hi,

This one is not so hard to add. You just register device with DCERouter and specify what events to receive and the rest is up to you.

If anyone is willing to start, I can help with advices - already did something similar...

Can you give me a little insight into what you did? Did you just use sendmail? I am a total linux n00b, sorry. I am going to start working on learning more linux along with some other things. Maybe i can be more helpful to other people and not such a pain, always asking dumb questions.
