Author Topic: Ok latest issue.. NVIDIA driver(and anything else i want to do) needs Root, but!  (Read 696 times)

I was never asked to set one that I remember (installed with DVD) and I am not sure how to deal with this.... hoe do I get into root in the console? or more to the point did i miss something ... I have looked but am not having much luck

i believe the username and password are both linuxmce and i dont know if the L is capitalized or not, sorry.

Yes, when installing from DVD the user/pass is linuxmce/linuxmce. To get into root console, open a console and write sudo -s and press enter.
