Hi guys

Just a thing that has really bugged me with LMCE.
Can we please get an option to just navigate to a folder on the network and mark it as a "medie folder" for LMCE?
That is how all the other portals work (Xlobby, Media portal, Itunes +++) and would be much simpler than having the LMCE as DHCP (atleast for me it would)
When LMCE detects shares on it's own it pops up several irrelevant (I know it doesn't know they are irrelevant until I tell it) hits, and it can get a bit much as I really only need it to find three specific folders on a Samba share (music, pictures and movies).

well, if you go into the web-interface at http://dcerouter and configure your eth interface eth0:0 to participate on your existing local network, you can browse shares.

What I did, was to simply change the folders for audio, video etc from the local directories to existing smbfs shares that are already on the network... and then synchronize them.

I'll have to try that.
I thought I did, but that may have been the RC, haven't had much time right now
