Warning! The Quick install DVD uses the entire HDD!

Thought I'd just issue a warning for stupid people like me who act first and ask questions later.
This is what I did:
I downloaded the Quick install DVD and booted from it. I chose the HDD I wanted to install to, but in stead of being able to choose the 10GB partition I had created earlier the installation formatted the entire drive and then installed everything.
Result: All my photos, music, apps etc where gone.

Thanks to GetDataBack I was able to recover most of it. But others might not be so lucky.

So in conclusion: Don't be stupid like me! RTFM!
