Keyboard layout defaults/switches to US keyboard

And since I don't use a US keyboard I find that problematic :-)

Have you looked in the web-admin under "Keyboard layout"?

I have, but the changes didn't "stick". could be a Beta thing, or just me  :)

Probably broken then, be glad it's not Dvorak. ;)  I guess one of us is going to have to file a bug report in order to get it fixed then, only the thing is... I do have a US keyboard. :D  (And I still haven't signed up for this mantis thingy)

I'll wait and see if it's the same in the 0704 release then.
