Linux MCE tv out help

Hi,

I have just setup linux mce on a spare athlon pc i had, it has a geforce 4 graphics card with tv out using s-video, when the audio/video wizard starts it asks me to select my resolution. I am using a 32" widescreen 100hz tv, but when i select the 16:9 setting the install gets stuck in a loop, im guessing its trying to set the new settings, it was sat there all night with no luck. If i keep the settings as 4:3 then the install works fine, but the screen is obviously cropped. Has anyone got any ideas why i cant setup as 16:9.
