Hi,

Have tried to make timed events, but not succeeded in starting Xine_player at a given time, will it be possible to do so on a given media director (the only one which also is the core).

Have been able to start mp3 music via timed events, and a playlist.

All suggestions are welcome, trying to fix a little wakeup system.
Where the idea is that misterhouse running on a different system sets the wakeup on the core. (e.g makes a timed event, or misterhouse launches it when it's time)

Best Regards

as long as you can play mp3, xine_player works. regarding your question, if misterhouse can send wake on lan packets to the core at a predefined time and the core can do timed events at a time, it should work without problems.
