Project still Alive???
« on: April 09, 2020, 06:04:07 pm »
Evening Everyone,

Been a while since I was here last. Life took over.
Finally I bought my own house and no more renting. Now I would like to implement LinuxMCE and some Automation into it......

Question is, Is this project still alive?  Im asking as I see the last posts was from 2019????

Take Care Everyone and STAY SAFE

Karel

Yes, it is.

We are battling quite a bit with changes in MySQL and PHP which affect mainly the web admin, which is a huge issue.

Thanx for that.

So do I download the 1604 version and start with that?

The 1404 is still the one working. 1604 started the changes in MySQL and PHP

Found an harddrive during covid Qurantine days from a closet. Plugged in and booted, good enough to give me goose bumps, it loaded Lmce with Orbiter on the screen!

Need to know, Are we still alive?

The good thing about OSS is: As long as people are using it, we are alive.

MySQL and PHP changes were extensive. I know the last I looked I had sqlCVS working again for non-anonymous commits. Webadmin and the PHP updates were not something I was prepared to look into. Ruby is broken completely so anything requiring that is definitely broken. I still have 1404 up and running for lighting control and some media control.
