Hi All,

First off I am proud to say I have a hybrid core up and running, despite my cretinous ways :)

However, I am having some trouble with mounting the samba shares stored on the core. From my Mac I can't authenticate the share at all. To be honest I don't even know what the password is. I haven't tried connecting to the share from the core because I don't know the username or password

What would the default username, password and domain be for my shares and how can I change/verify this?

Cheers,
Dane.

the user and the password are the ones that you put in setup wizard (when you added the user).
Read the F****** Logs!!!

The samba shares are configured in /etc/samba/smb.conf .
To understand all the options in there run from the console: man smb.conf
