Hey, this is my first post and first time ever trying to use Linux in general..  I have gotten Ubuntu 6.10 and 7 running ok by them selves, however when getting to Linux MCE i seem to keep running into some problems.  First, on both versions of Linux, the mce-installer.sh does nothing nor does the desktop icon.  Then is when running with 'sudo sh +x /usr/share/mce-installer/mce-installer.sh'.  No error.  No mce-installer.log to look at, nothing.  and I'm not sure where else to look for errors or logs.

Tried using version 7 again and it went fine.  I'm certainly missing something...
