This would be the most amazing thing ever.  Like the ability to have this load for the screensaver when playing music is something I would love.  Maybe if I have time I can start hacking at this.  Or if anyone else has set this up then please share.

Oh and if you're not sure what Electric Sheep is, then go here:

Sounds like an excellent idea, I'd vote for that. I seem to remember a friends XBox media center does something along those lines, and it does help make the entire thing look more stylish.

The XBMC Visualizations are phenomenal. Especially g-force and milkdrop. It shouldn't be too difficult to add something similar to Linuxmce and also include Electric Sheep. This would really make Linuxmce more user friendly and nicer to look at.

Are these triggered by the music, or just random animations?
I remember using Winamp plugins for a similar effect, was very nice on the "club" from a projector, but that was like 8 years ago.

I was thinking of it to be triggered by music.  What do you mean by random animations?

"Random" as in constantly changing with no regard as to the beat of the music. A "random" would still run without music.
I would want a sound triggered one. Even the X-boX has one
